Inspired by Edwardian era panelled lace gowns from Parisian archives in the time of the Ballet Russes, the stunning Bella dress has cascading light georgette applique leaves framing the neckline and scattering down the sheer tulle sleeves and skirt. The leaves are lined with a fine corded stitch and shaded with pearlescent sequins. The cording extends into an interlacing motif, typical of Edwardian frogging cordwork, at the centre of the waistline, giving a flattering corseted effect. Micro beads sunray from the neckline and fan out across the skirt, alongside flower cut sequins that complement the corded rose buds lining the waist and scattering towards the hem.
